This zone is a part of the present theme in the aquarium of France’s overseas territories, indeed France possesses the second largest coastal territory (11 millions of km2, just behind the United States.)
French Angelfish (Pomacanthus paru): this tropical fish is a famous inhabitant of the Carribbean islands, its black color with bright yellow stripes (when juvenile) is very typical. It is also a very useful fish because it consumes the living parasites on other bigger fishes. |
